the messy work of the past includes sketch, drawing, collage, and paint with no significant palette considered. The purpose is to contemplate what letting go of the mind feels like— becoming aware of spirit and what lies beyond conscious awareness. The engendering part of removing the self, is the surrender of outdated versions of who we once thought we were. In pieces, letting go creates subtle shifts— enter a realm of possibility where creation starts and begins, & begins, & begins, & begins
